The intention of this programme is to give children at the age of 5 to 12 an
understanding of the world of music in a playful manner with lots of
fun. This is to be achieved by an enteraining programme of
approximately 60 minutes in lenght with the help of a unusal
instrumentation and a special selection of music especially for this
age group. The focus lies on the mallet instruments marimba,
vibraphone and xylophone. The arrangements were adapted for these
instruments, which are also a big visual attraction for children as
experience teaches. In addition, it is intended that the kids
participate in singing and drumming motivated by playful simple means
and „bodypercussion“. More information on the didactic approach,
